Case Study: Reinventing Inventive Labs

Challenge:
Inventive Labs Corporation, a leading provider of .NET-based telephony applications for the mid-market telephony service provider, was looking to expand its customer base and penetrate an expanding global market, but was unsure what strategic steps to take in its sales amd marketing efforts. The company was also concerned with its current brand image, and believed a new, more refined image was needed.

Recommendation:
Following an initial analysis of the company and it's core market, White Ladder developed a comprehensive marketing strategy for tackling this larger, more highly competitve market. Included in initial "phase 1" recommendations was the rebranding of Inventive Labs to more appropriately resonate with it's core audience of technologists and software developers.

Outcome:
With an in-depth analysis of the core audience completed, the White Ladder team immediately began developing a variety of brand identities. The new concepts were designed to both connotate the company's technology focus while also appealing to it's core selling market. By collaborating with Inventive Labs and a small focus group of customers, the White Ladder team distilled the initial brand concepts into a single, focused brand identity that met these  objectives, and provided Inventive Labs with a brand image that was in-sync with it's core focus, customers and market.
